The Lady Hawks Earn the Top Spot in the Suncoast Conference Standings

The Lady Hawks are off to a great start in conference, led by pitchers Marisa Mellone and Ashleigh Penix. Hitters Becca Hazard, Becca Quinlan, and Kenzie Peters are coming up big with their bats, and everyone else is contributing as well. The entire team is playing a part in each games success, with many different girls stepping up and coming in clutch when needed!

This team is currently ranked no. 12 in the FCSAA State Rankings and are tied for first place in the Suncoast Conference standings with a record of 6-2. The top two teams in each conference automatically earn a spot at the NJCAA Region 8 State Tournament. The last time the HCC Softball program earned a spot at this tournament was in May 2017.
