The Lady Hawks Basketball team took on the new year head on at the Women’s Basketball Conference Games. Florida Southwestern College sent their Buccaneers and the Titans came from St. Petersburg College to challenge us on our home turf.
We lost to the Buccaneers (67-100), but we did land a tight victory over the Titans (75-74).
One key player of the conference games was Shay Collins. She scored 27 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 12-17 FT. She’s currently ranked #1 in Florida and #7 national ranking in scoring.
