Jazmine Spencer First in Program History to Receive Women's Basketball All-America Honors

Jazmine Spencer received Honorable mention honors for the NJCAA Division 1 All-America Team. She is the first player in the Hillsborough Community College (HCC) Women's Basketball program history to accomplish this honor.

Spencer, a 5'8" sophomore guard from Bartow, FL, led the nation in scoring, averaging 26.3 points per game. She had four 40+ point games, including one where she broke the HCC single-game record by scoring 50 points.

Jazmine also made the first-team All-Southern Conference and first-team FCSAA All-State Team during her two seasons at HCC. She was named Player Of The Week in the season's final week, averaging 46 points.

 Spencer will continue her career at Division 1 Jacksonville State University in Alabama.
